Niacin was formed in the mid-90's by Billy Sheehan, the renowned bass player of Mr Big. Sheehan is joined by John Novello on keyboards and Dennis Chambers on drums.

Live In Tokyo was filmed in Japan in 1998 but only ever released in that country. It is a supreme example of jazz-rock fusion at its very best and a fantastic showcase for the virtuoso playing of the three band members.

Niacin remain very active and are currently on tour in the United States.
