Singer/songwriter Marianne Faithfull is one of the most famous and infamous artists of our time. This incredible story takes the viewer through the early days of Marianne's life. As a young mother at 18, her introduction to drugs, which led to her life on the 'wall', associations with fringe elements, her attempts at ehabilitation and how she finally kicked the habit after a near death experience. There are interviews with Keith Richards, James Hetfield of Metallica and her ex-husband John Dunbar amongst others. Along with performance footage, which includes Marianne performing the single from her recent album 'Vagabond Ways'.
