Sweet-toothed Jake (Tara Subkoff) is suddenly abandoned by her mother and winds up travelling to Los Angeles to move in with her sister (Kristy Swanson) who doesn’t want her around either. She’s taken in by Marci (Sandra Bernhard), who manages the massage parlour next door called Jean’s American Spa. Soon Jake is working as a masseuse and meeting a whole new family of people. A light, funny coming of age story.
