Annie is the daughter of Joseph and Flavy, both deaf-mute. She grows up among a string of tragedies, including the death of her grandmother Marie Briganza and her brother. The handicaps of her parents force her to mature well ahead of her time. Meeting with Raj into her adulthood she finds her talent for singing and love for music. But she wants approval from her parents – how does she make her parents aware of her music?
