Two brothers, Deep (Suri) and Rishi (Bose) compete in a pop music contest called « Jhankaar Beats » and lose yearly. Their obsession with the contest (and the music of R.D. Burman) leads to tensions in their personal and professional lives. Well shot, but tedious Hindi-English yuppie melodrama, somewhat akin to Farhan Akhtar’s Dil Chahta Hain. Good for students of the metro retro fascination for R.D Burman’s music.
