Actions during the party

At the beginning of the game a player gets two cards for each hand, where the chips were put. Based on the combination that the user received, he must perform one of several actions.

First, the gambler has the opportunity to double the bet. To do this, use the key Double. This opportunity is available once for each hand during one deal. In addition, after the set of five cards the doubling function is disabled.

If the first two cards of the user have the same value, he can split them into two hands. This is done with the Split button. In this case, the cards are divided, and one card is added to each hand. In addition, an additional bet is made, which is equal to the initial bet.

To understand when you can split cards, you need to know their values:

  • Kings, queens and jacks have a value of 10 points;
  • cards with numbers are valued according to their face value;
  • an Ace brings either 1 or 11 points, depending on the total number of points in the hand.

The second version of the Ace's value applies if the other cards are worth 10 points or less. In all other cases, an Ace is worth one point.

If a split hand has two of the same cards again, the cards cannot be split. The card set is done with the Hit key. It is always active, but a warning message appears if the value of the hand is high. To make this window does not appear again, you need to put a tick mark against the phrase Don't show again? in the dialog box.

If the gambler has 15 or more points in his hand, he can stop playing cards. This is done by pressing the Stand key. If the user has taken five cards, the set of cards stops automatically.

The dealer takes cards until the sum of his points does not exceed 17 or until he takes five cards.

Possible combinations and results of the deal

Depending on the final combinations of the dealer and the user, the winner is determined. If one of the opponents have 21 points on the first two cards, the game ends immediately, he wins.

When the dealer and the user have the same amount of points, the dealer wins and the gambler loses his bet. If both have a sum of points less than 21, then the winner is the one who has it closer to that number.

The combination of five cards with less than 21 points wins over any other combination except pontoon (blackjack). If two combinations of five cards have the same value, regardless of the amount of points, then there will be a tie.

A non-two-card combination that adds up to 21 points is also ranked higher than other combinations. In addition, Blackjack is considered a full hand even on those hands that result in a split.

Payout Ratios

The standard bet reward depends on the winning combination with which the user wins. These include:

  • Blackjack;
  • A combination of five cards;
  • Any other prize sequence.

In the first two cases, payments are made 2 to 1. This means that the gambler gets his bet back and two more on top. In the third case, the user gets a total of two initial bets. In other words, the payout ratio is 1 to 1.

If, however, the user has put chips on the Sweet 16 Side Bet area, he has a chance to get a reward only for certain combinations of the first two cards. This prize is counted separately from the main prize and is paid at any outcome of the game.

If the first two cards have a combination that brings 16 to 21 points, then the special bet is paid 1:1. At the same ratio the reward is considered if one of the first two cards is an Ace. If the user receives two aces at once, his bet on the Sweet 16 Side Bet area pays 2:1.

When the first two cards are a pair of cards from a deuce to a seven, the user simply gets his bet back on the Sweet 16 Side Bet.
